Since 7 Seconds last CD (The Crew) on EMI Records back in 1984, I have felt a massive void in my life. There is no doubt that 7 Seconds has talent. This is the first studio album from 7 Seconds since bad diagnosis in 1984. The Crew constantly brilliant.
Definite Choice is a amazing, simple song by 7 Seconds at the top of his game. Not Just Boys Fun - For me, this is the best of the album. This Is The Angry, Pt. 2 is perfect. Straight On is the best music that I have heard from anyone in any area of music. You Lose - To me, this is the best song on the The Crew. What If Theres A War In Americ is nothing short of a modern masterpiece. This song stands out greatly from the others. Clenched Fists, Black Eyes is beautiful, yet underrated track. The song feels complete. Aim To Please the elegant and beautiful song on the album is hard to describe. Boss had me crying as I was able to relate so well. Young ‘Til I Die is an upbeat song with a constant snare hit. 7 Seconds allows each song to breathe and flourish. I’ve found myself listening to Die Hard back to back and back many times. I Have A Dream - This one is what it is: a powerful, primal invitation to love. This is one hell of a track. Trust (2:14) - awsome. 7 Seconds breathes new life into the music in Here’s Your Warning (live). Vocals of 7 Seconds in Spread (live) really capture me and are set perfectly to the rhythm. Simply the finest work ever from this multi-talented singer. Young ‘Til I Die (live) is amazing and different song. I now have Not Just Boys Fun (live) as one of my personal favorites. After few listenings I started to like Rock Together (live) more and more.
