This is the first studio album from A La Carte since bad diagnosis in 1981. A La Carte was a flawless and timeless record. Not surprising from A La Carte and Viva together. On the Poland charts, superstar A La Carte’s career stalled before it left the starting gate. A La Carte “Viva” is an amazing album.
Morning Songbird is a excellent, simple song by A La Carte at the top of his game. Cubatao - A nice song. This track is a killer, it just grabs you instantly. Within the first few notes of Try A Little Tenderness it’s perfectly clear that A La Carte is living this song. Music of Wanted (Jean Le Voleur) is gentle, never overbearing. Some call You Get Me On The Run from Viva as a quiet invitation of an artist to sit and listen. A La Carte offers the kind of music here that makes you reflect on yourself. River Blue is flawed, nonetheless pretty good song. Only one song from Viva named Dong Dong Diki Diki Dong really got me.
