Academy Of St. Martin-in-the-Fields had quite a long carriere and they made many hits. It has been thirteen years Academy Of St. Martin-in-the-Fields’ last studio CD, “Divertimento In D, K334/320B” which won Array Emmy� Awards and was nominated for album of the year. It’s natural for Academy Of St. Martin-in-the-Fields to take a stab at ‘Allegro’ considering her long-professed love for Gustav Holst. To me Academy Of St. Martin-in-the-Fields is the best band ever.
Thema Mit Variationen (Andante had me crying as I was able to relate so well. So much energy, so exciting a sound.Adagio is an incredible song that has everything it needs to be another favorite track. Menuetto is a catchy, up-tempo track that has influence of music streams without leaning too much in that direction. Rondo (Allegro) is the most memorable and marvelous.
