Su cara su sonrisa isn’t so much a record, as a great effort at dragging you into another world. Since Al Bano last CD (Su cara su sonrisa) on Savoy Records back in 1973, I have felt a massive void in my life. This is the first studio album from Al Bano since bad diagnosis in 1973. Great Instrumental right here!
This track is just a stunning masterpiece. Mireya is a nice, innocuous song, and much better than anything Al Bano released so far. Music and lyrics of La Casa Del Amor creates, for me, fertile ground for daydreaming. Taca taca banda is perhaps one of the best tracks of the past decade. This track is possibly the biggest guilty pleasure on Su cara su sonrisa. Su cara su sonrisa is beautiful, yet underrated track. This track makes my mind whirl and vibrate with flowing energy. It’s such an underrated song. El prado del carido is a great song to contemplate the modern music and what it really is all about. Voice and instruments in Noches de seda complement each other. Angeles Sin Paraiso is simply gorgeous.
