When you buy a Alan Stivell album, you know exactly what you’re getting! Self-described as Celtic with lots of words, Alan Stivell comes out swinging on perhaps his best album to date. Alan Stivell was a flawless and timeless record. Not surprising from Alan Stivell and From Celtic Roots together. Cool, but I like their other actual stuff better like From Celtic Roots.
Ian Morrisson great lyrics, dark, deep, angry and cool.Music of She Moved Through The Fair is gentle, never overbearing. Can Y Melinydd - arguably the best track on From Celtic Roots album. This song could easily nestle itself onto the world top playlists. It took me a little time but I ended up loving An Dro Nevez. Maro Ma Mestrez the elegant and beautiful song on the album is hard to describe. Alan Stivell offers the kind of music here that makes you reflect on yourself. Music in An Hani A Garan is exquisite as in all tracks of From Celtic Roots. This track is a killer, it just grabs you instantly. Kimiad - A catchy, upbeat tune.
