This disc has all of the essential Andre Gagnon classics. Since Andre Gagnon last CD (Neiges) on Blue Note Records back in 1975, I have felt a massive void in my life. Since completing 1975’s ‘L’ouverture - Eclair’, Andre Gagnon fulfilled their contract with Blue Note Records and where under no obligation to release another album. This album is a scorcher!
Dedethoven is perfect. L’inoubliable is another strong production from Andre Gagnon. Ta Samba is the albums lead single as well as biggest hit. Petit Concerto Pour Carignan Et Orchestre - is a breath or fresh air compared to many previous songs of Andre Gagnon. I loved Wow the first time I heard it. You can find feelings on this piece of art. When I listen to Chanson Pour Renee Claude in my car when traffic ain’t going so good. Andre Gagnon allows each song to breathe and flourish.
