Anne Murray and Glen Campbell isn’t so much a record, as a great effort at dragging you into another world. Anne Murray’s debut, ‘Anne Murray and Glen Campbell’, does not fit easily into one genre. I am not a real Country music type of person, but i have to admit ‘Anne Murray and Glen Campbell’ really is amazing. Smart music for smart people.
|titile| is the kind of record that makes you remember why music can be so addictive. Music and lyrics of Ease Your Pain creates, for me, fertile ground for daydreaming. Love Story (You & Me) is a very catchy tune. I loved United We Stand the first time I heard it. Bring Back The Love is possibly the best song Anne Murray has come up. The sound of Canadian Sunset is difficult to describe, as it seems to squirm in a sensual manner, unlike anything ever created. We All Pull The Load have really caught my ear and imagination. This is probably my favorite song on the album. You’re Easy To Love has a gorgeous instrumental sound, which lets Anne Murray’s strong vocals come to the fore.
