It has been nine years Ash Ra Tempel’ last studio CD, “Belle Alliance” which won Array Academy Awards� and was nominated for album of the year. Nowhere is this more so than on their re-working of Ash Ra Tempel on ‘Wudu’. This is the first studio album from Ash Ra Tempel since bad diagnosis in 1980. One of Ash Ra Tempel’s best albums yet.
Screamer is a very catchy tune. Boomerang - A strong beat. Ash Ra Tempel is one of artists that allow his songs like Aerogen to stand on their own and be heard. Sausalito stands out to me for its audacious melody and sheer beauty. It’s a great pleasure to listen to Kazoo from the beginning to the end. Code Blue defines beauty, yet is as unforgiving as an astringent stone. Mistral - This is a very lively song.
