This is one of the best Cd’s Ash Ra Tempel has dropped to date. Lead single “Bring Me Up” and “The Fairy Dance” start with near-whispers before kicking into giddily catchy, fuzz box-driven hollered hooks. Now signed to Ash Ra Tempel’s Savoy Records, the title track from second album “Starring Rosi” leads Ash Ra Tempel’s back-to-school campaign. Such great and happy songs.
I love the melodic melody of The Fairy Dance and to this day it makes me feel good. Cosmic Tango is the albums lead single as well as biggest hit. Interplay Of Forces is flawed, nonetheless pretty good song. This track is full of harmonies and gets Starring Rosi off to a relaxing start. Laughter Loving is probably one of Ash Ra Tempel’s biggest successes for the album - it’s lovely to listen to. Day-Dream (5:23) Not one of my favorites, but for a lot of people this is one of their best songs.
