Victims Of Circumstance is an amazing album, racked with beauty.Barclay James Harvest had quite a long carriere and they made many hits. Since completing 1984’s ‘Sideshow’, Barclay James Harvest fulfilled their contract with Columbia Records and where under no obligation to release another album. I wish that “Victims Of Circumstance” album was instrumental.
Hold On is kind of track that compels you to skip back and drink it in one more time before moving on through Victims Of Circumstance. No Barclay James Harvest song has come close to capturing my attention as Rebel Woman did. This is the kind of song I think of when I think of Barclay James Harvest. For Your Love is a great opener for Victims Of Circumstance. Victims Of Circumstance is beautiful, yet underrated track. Music and lyrics of Inside My Nightmare creates, for me, fertile ground for daydreaming. Watching You is one of these floating songs. From the sound of it, I believe the song can be a big radio hit.
