Belle Epoque’s debut, ‘Bamalama’, does not fit easily into one genre. This disc has all of the essential Belle Epoque classics. Bamalama isn’t so much a record, as a great effort at dragging you into another world. I wish that “Bamalama” album was instrumental.
Mister Do Right is one of the best records ever. Drink Me is a song to enjoy for years to come. Sorry is a song that definitely grows on you and becomes an album favorite. I now have Let Men Be as one of my personal favorites.
