For older fans There Is No Greater Love will put a massive smile accross your face. ‘There Is No Greater Love’ kicks the album off with a blast of pure pop energy. Lead single “Easy To Love” and “Stardust” start with near-whispers before kicking into giddily catchy, fuzz box-driven hollered hooks. Cool, but I like their other actual stuff better like There Is No Greater Love.
Stardust is sonically very melodic with nice haunting verses. This track is almost perfect, instrumentals and vocals combine awesomely. Close Your Eyes is outstanding work of Ben Webster. Album opener What’s New is a bright, upbeat ditty. I Got It Bad is a song you cannot help but think about at odd moments in your day. After about the third Esterdays listen through, I began to believe this song is Ben Webster’s essence. Autumn Leaves (5:23) a good melody.
