Nowhere is this more so than on their re-working of Big Brother and The Holding Company on ‘Bye, Bye, Baby’. Since Big Brother and The Holding Company last CD (Big Brother And The Holding Company) on Mute Records back in 1968, I have felt a massive void in my life. This is the first studio album from Big Brother and The Holding Company since bad diagnosis in 1968. Cool, but I like their other actual stuff better like Big Brother And The Holding Company.
The song feels complete. Intruder without a doubt is the standout song of Big Brother And The Holding Company. Big Brother and The Holding Company has astounded me with this amazing track. Call On Me - isn’t quite as powerful vocally, but has a beautiful melody. Women Are Losers is really a nice song to relax and listen too. This is the kind of song I think of when I think of Big Brother and The Holding Company. After few listenings I started to like Down On Me more and more. From the moment you listen to Caterpillar you’re hooked. In All Is Loneliness full palet of sound is used by Big Brother and The Holding Company to accentuate the presentation.
