I am not a real Blues music type of person, but i have to admit ‘Big Joe Williams’ really is amazing. On the Slovakia charts, superstar Big Joe Williams’s career stalled before it left the starting gate. Now signed to Big Joe Williams’s Sparrow Records, the title track from second album “Big Joe Williams” leads Big Joe Williams’s back-to-school campaign. Enjoy the show.
Texas Blues catches attention immediately, Tailor Made Baby is an upbeat song with a constant snare hit. Somebody’s Been Borrowin’ That Heavy Stuff O’ Mine is sonically very melodic with nice haunting verses. Album opener Snitchin’ Blues is a bright, upbeat ditty. Prison Bound Blues as well as many of songs is a short story in miniature. This song is dynamic and dramatic. Lord Have Mercy one of the most beautiful songs i’ve ever heard. Lonesome Train Blues is a nice, innocuous song, and much better than anything Big Joe Williams released so far. Liza Jane Blues is worth the money. Jesus Gonna Make Up My Dyin’ Bed is perfect. Awesome song is really all that you can say about it. Don’t Your House Look Lonesome is a very catchy tune. Get Big Joe Williams and turn on Deal ‘Em On Down if you are going to sip your wine late at night. Delta Blues - Check out that bassline! Dark Road Blues pretty much defines how I feel spiritually.
