Since Blondie last CD (Plastic Letters (Remastered)) on SixSteps records back in 1977, I have felt a massive void in my life. This is one of the best Cd’s Blondie has dropped to date. After debuting at No. 1 last week, Blondie’s album Plastic Letters (Remastered) falls to No. 2 with 220,000, a sales slide of 78%. This is one of the best cd’s i have heard through the whole thing.
Denis as a highlight of Plastic Letters (Remastered) contains a ton of astounding melodies. It’s so catchy, it’s amazing. I have all of Blondie’s tracks and Youth Nabbed As Sniper is probably the most his introspective effort. Contact In Red Square is a great opener for Plastic Letters (Remastered). (I’m Always Touched By Your) Presence Dear is a pleasing, and full of overall coherence that goes beyond other creations. Although I prefer the faster paced music, I think I’m On E is my favorite song on Plastic Letters (Remastered). I hope to keep hearing Blondie works for a long time to come. Musically Love At The Pier is superior to other tracks in Plastic Letters (Remastered). No Immagination - This one has a powerful beat and a good melody. In Kidnapper Blondie is at his best. Detroit 442 - This is a very lively song. Cautious Lip is an incredible song that has everything it needs to be another favorite track. Once I Had A Love (a.k.a. The Disco Song) (1975 Version) is Blondie’s best work in years. This is probably my favorite song on the album. From the moment you listen to Poets Problem you’re hooked. Detroit 442 (Recorded Live 11-16-78 at The Walnut Theatre In Philadelphia, PA) defines beauty, yet is as unforgiving as an astringent stone.
