Lead single “Midsummernight” and “Water Garden” start with near-whispers before kicking into giddily catchy, fuzz box-driven hollered hooks. Now signed to Blonker’s Sparrow Records, the title track from second album “Inside” leads Blonker’s back-to-school campaign. Self-described as Instrumental with lots of words, Blonker comes out swinging on perhaps his best album to date. Check it every song is worth the money for the Inside CD!
Water Garden marked the continuation of Blonker in style evolution. Hearts - This one is what it is: a powerful, primal invitation to love. Dreaming is a catchy, up-tempo track that has influence of music streams without leaning too much in that direction. Cuba Libre - Well, here we get a bit more meaning. Lindane Le good vocals. It took me a little time but I ended up loving Open Circle. Music in Golden Brass And Broken String is exquisite as in all tracks of Inside. The sound of Inside is difficult to describe, as it seems to squirm in a sensual manner, unlike anything ever created. The Rattlesnake - Okay, I just talked about depth.
