Blood Sweat and Tears had quite a long carriere and they made many hits. It’s a brave and brilliant refocusing of Blood Sweat and Tears energies, virtually a rebirth. five years ago, Blood Sweat and Tears briefly lived up to their terrific name, with an insanely addictive hit single called “Cowboys and Indians”. Unappreciated gift to Jazz
Cowboys and Indians is a catchy, up-tempo track that has influence of music streams without leaning too much in that direction. Such hits like John The Baptist (Holy John) will leave you hooked. Opening track Redemption shows the best of Blood Sweat and Tears. Lisa, Listen To Me is a striking and quite long song. A Look To My Heart was the first single release from the album 4. Other tracks are good but your best bet is to stick with High On A Mountain. Valentine’s Day is one of the best records ever. Take Me In Your Arms is possibly the most mysterious and inexplicable track Blood Sweat and Tears ever produced. When listening to For My Lady, it gives me such an energy rush it’s unbelievable. Some of the arrangements found on 4 are surprisingly edgy. A Look To My Heart (Duet) as a highlight of 4 contains a ton of amazing melodies.
