Mila Sparrow has compared writing for Blues - Various Artists’s new album to that on ‘Willie Nix - Chess Blues (1952-1954) - CD2′ - but has declared the lyrics will be even more terrifying. IF YOU LIKE ALL Blues - Various Artists’S SONG GO FOR IT! There is no doubt that Blues - Various Artists has talent. Willie Nix - Chess Blues (1952-1954) - CD2 is the best essence of Blues - Various Artists.
Hard Time Gettin’ Started (Eddie Boyd) is possibly the best song Blues - Various Artists has come up. Whose Muddy Shoes (Elmore James) is astounding and different song. The song Eight Ball (Gus Jenkins) ending is my favorite… so catchy! I like to sing along with Untitled Instrumental (Henry Gray and Morris Pejoe), though I mess up the lyrics sometimes. I Declare That Ain’t Right (Henry Gray) gets you up and jumping. It’s so catchy, it’s amazing. Blues - Various Artists has astounded me with this amazing track. Mama Talk to Your Daughter (J. B. Lenoir) great lyrics, dark, deep, angry and cool.Ice Cream Man (John Brim) - A strong beat. I like Walkin’ the Boogie (alternate; John Lee Hooker) because it’s extremely catchy and has awesome drumming. It’s also one of those rare songs that touchingly comfort the listener. Awesome song is really all that you can say about it. Fast Boogie (Little Walter) is a fine track on any terms. Got to Find My Baby (alternate; Little Walter) is a song that definitely grows on you and becomes an album favorite. Nice and different song. After few listenings I started to like Reconsider Baby (Lowell Fulson) more and more. Broken Heart (alternate; Memphis Minnie) is marvelous song though, very addictive. Conjur Man (Memphis Minnie) is a nice, innocuous song, and much better than anything Blues - Various Artists released so far. Hoochie Coochie Man (Muddy Waters) one of the best in my collection. Voice and instruments in Who’s Gonna Be Your Sweet Man When I’m Gone (Muddy Waters) complement each other. All of songs on Willie Nix - Chess Blues (1952-1954) - CD2 and have something to say letting alone Funeral Hearse at My Door (Rocky Fuller). Got to Have It (Willie Mabon) one of the most beautiful songs i’ve ever heard. I’m Mad (Willie Mabon) is possibly the most mysterious and inexplicable track Blues - Various Artists ever produced. Opening track Truckin’ Little Woman (Willie Nix) shows the best of Blues - Various Artists.
