After debuting at No. 1 last week, Bo Hansson’s album Lord Of The Rings falls to No. 2 with 928,000, a sales slide of 76%. While no new Bo Hansson album is in sight, the artist has been road testing new songs during 1970 tour in Asia. ‘Lord Of The Rings’ kicks the album off with a blast of pure pop energy. Lord Of The Rings is the best essence of Bo Hansson.
Voice of Bo Hansson in Dreams In The House Of Healing is honest and guitar work is subtle and poignant. Vocals of Bo Hansson in Homeward Bound And The Scouring Of The Shire really capture me and are set perfectly to the rhythm. The Horns Of Rohan is one of the best records ever. I loved Shadowfax the first time I heard it. So much energy, so exciting a sound.Blew our minds when we first heard Lothlorien. At The House Of Elrond & The Ringhs Goes South is a great song to contemplate the modern music and what it really is all about. The Black Riders And The Flight To The Ford is one of the best records ever. I like to sing along with Fog On The Barrow Downs, though I mess up the lyrics sometimes. I think The Old Forest And Tom Bombadil is the best song Bo Hansson has ever done. Leaving Shire is one of the more up-tempo songs on Lord Of The Rings.
