This is the first studio album from Bob Dylan since bad diagnosis in 1963. Self-described as Instrumental with lots of words, Bob Dylan comes out swinging on perhaps his best album to date. There is no doubt that Bob Dylan has talent. This is one of the best cd’s i have heard through the whole thing.
A unique and uplifting song. I listened to the opening track Bob Dylan’s Blues and liked it a lot. Bob Dylan’s Dream is absolutely incredible. Corrina, Corrina is a catchy, up-tempo track that has influence of music streams without leaning too much in that direction. Within the first few notes of Don’t Think Twice, It’s All Ri it’s perfectly clear that Bob Dylan is living this song. This song has very few things relative to that of it’s predecessor. Still going through The Freewheelin’ Bob Dylan and coming to appreciate Girl From The North Country more and more with every listen. Although Honey, Just Allow Me One More is very melodic it is far from sad. Music and lyrics of I Shall Be Free creates, for me, fertile ground for daydreaming. Masters Of War is the albums biggest surprise. Oxford Town is the more seemingly obscure song on The Freewheelin’ Bob Dylan that bear up best to repeated listening. Talking World War III Blues is a song to savor, to listen to from every angle.
