Black Night is just a great song and one well worth taking the time to give it a good listen. For Men Only - is a breath or fresh air compared to many previous songs of Bobby Blue Bland. It took me a little time but I ended up loving The Greatest. Black Night (45 Version) makes a person feel cool. A great put together song. Simple and heartfelt closing track Steal Away closes Turn On Your Love Light: The Duke Recordings Vol.2 CD.2 on a high note. This is one of those songs that musicians strive to write and create. Ain’t Doin’ Too Bad, Part 1 motivates you to get up and do something to improve your life and the life of others. Ain’t Doin’ Too Bad, Part 2 is probably the highlight of the album. I Won’t Forget is maybe the best thing the group’s ever done. |titile| is quite refreshing and sets the tone for what is going on in Turn On Your Love Light: The Duke Recordings Vol.2 CD.2. When You Put Me Down have really caught my ear and imagination. Vocals of Bobby Blue Bland in I’m Gonna Cry really capture me and are set perfectly to the rhythm. Reconsider Baby - This one is what it is: a powerful, primal invitation to love. Ain’t No Telling is one of these floating songs.
