After seeing Exodus (Noah’s Ark 2001), I had to have a good Boney M cd. 10 000 Light Years carries a very emotional theme throughout the album. This fourteen-song debut EP shows the promise that Boney M has. This album is awesome.
Wild Planet is the most memorable and amazing. Future World is a song you cannot help but think about at odd moments in your day. Where Did You Go has a fun tempo. 10.000 Lightyears is Boney M’s best work in years. Music and lyrics of I Feel Good creates, for me, fertile ground for daydreaming. Somewhere In The World is worth the money. Bel Ami as a highlight of 10 000 Light Years contains a ton of perfect melodies. Living Like A Moviestar - This happy song is an ode to optimism and an anthem. The sound of Dizzy is difficult to describe, as it seems to squirm in a sensual manner, unlike anything ever created. The Alibama is maybe the best thing the group’s ever done. Other tracks are good but your best bet is to stick with Jimmy. This is one of those songs that musicians strive to write and create.
