Now signed to Brand X’s Savoy Records, the title track from second album “Do They Hurt” leads Brand X’s back-to-school campaign. Nowhere is this more so than on their re-working of Brand X on ‘Noddy Goes To Sweden’. Lead single “Noddy Goes To Sweden” and “Voidarama” start with near-whispers before kicking into giddily catchy, fuzz box-driven hollered hooks. Do They Hurt constantly brilliant.
Voidarama is probably the highlight of the album. Act Of Will is just simply stunning. A unique and uplifting song. What sets Cambodia apart is Brand X’s innovative and organic way of creating atmospheres. Triumphant Limp - I used to hate this song, but now it’s one of my favorites. |titile| is quite refreshing and sets the tone for what is going on in Do They Hurt.
