After seeing Sun In The Night, I had to have a good Brand X cd. Now signed to Brand X’s SixSteps records, the title track from second album “Morrocan Roll” leads Brand X’s back-to-school campaign. Brand X was a flawless and timeless record. Not surprising from Brand X and Morrocan Roll together. This is one of Brand X best albums
Why Should I Lend You Mine is the more seemingly obscure song on Morrocan Roll that bear up best to repeated listening. Maybe I’ll Lend You Mine After All is sonically very melodic with nice haunting verses. Hate Zone is one of these floating songs. Collapsar is absolutely incredible. Morrocan Roll couldn’t start better than with the up up-beat title track Disco Suicide. Orbits is the funkiest number on the album. Outside of the singles, my favorite song on Morrocan Roll is Malaga Virgen. Macrocosm was the first single release from the album Morrocan Roll.
