It’s natural for Brian Eno to take a stab at ‘Under Stars’ considering her long-professed love for Army of Lovers. This is the first studio album from Brian Eno since bad diagnosis in 1983. This album has some very good songs like Under Stars and The Secret Place. Apollo is not something you should pass up.
The Secret Place one is one of the better boring ones. Matta on Apollo is solid and easy to listen to. Signal is the albums lead single as well as biggest hit. An Ending is a song to savor, to listen to from every angle. Under Stars 2 - A nice song. Drift - A classic Brian Eno track. Silver Morning - I used to hate this song, but now it’s one of my favorites. It is succeeded by an outstanding track, however: Deep Blue Day, which shows, blatantly, how much Brian Eno has evolved as a singer. Weightless hits the heart. It’s very catchy and easy to get into which is what you want in a song. Opening track Stars shows the best of Brian Eno.
