There is so much to love about Brownie Mcghee, starting with incredible harmonies, songwriting chops and stellar stage presence. Nowhere is this more so than on their re-working of Brownie Mcghee on ‘Jump, Little Children’. This compilation contains all of the biggest hits by Brownie Mcghee. Brownie Mcghee is one of my favourite bands of all time.
Lonesome Day is flawed, nonetheless pretty good song. I love the melodic melody of One Thing For Sure and to this day it makes me feel good. The Killin’ Floor is pretty funky and mellow. Little Black Engine as well as many of songs is a short story in miniature. I Don’t Know The Reason gets you up and jumping. Trouble In Mind is a very catchy tune. Everyday I Have The Blues is a song that definitely grows on you and becomes an album favorite. Only one song from Brownie’s Blues named Door To Success really got me.
