Self-described as Latin with lots of words, Caetano Veloso comes out swinging on perhaps his best album to date. Another great offering from Caetano Veloso.
julia moreno is astounding song though, very addictive. Album opener Pico is a bright, upbeat ditty. You have to get essence of the de cara’s power, to truly understand this masterpiece. eu quero essa mulher (10:15) Not one of my favorites, but for a lot of people this is one of their best songs. de palavra em palavra is simple, dignified and effective, Caetano Veloso refusing to over-emote, and demonstrating that less is more. tu me aconstumbraste is one of the more up-tempo songs on Araka azul. gilberto misterioso pretty much defines how I feel spiritually. de conversa cravo canela is a song to enjoy for years to come. viola meu bem catches attention immediately,
