This is one of the best Cd’s Caetano Veloso has dropped to date. This album has some very good songs like Doce Mist rio Da Vida and Maninha. ‘Maria Bethania and Caetano Veloso ao Vivo’ kicks the album off with a blast of pure pop energy. If I may, I suggest “Doce Mist rio Da Vida”. That one song is amazing!
You have to get essence of the Maninha’s power, to truly understand this masterpiece. Reino Antigo - Adeus Santo Amaro is one of the best records ever. Meu Primeiro Amor is filled with very deep emotions that will truly touch your heart. This track is possibly the biggest guilty pleasure on Maria Bethania and Caetano Veloso ao Vivo. A fantastic track full of wonder. O Que Tinha De Ser is an incredible song that has everything it needs to be another favorite track. Put Maria Beth nia into car stereo for your highway driving One of the songs that always stick in my mind is N mero Um because the melody in the chorus is so good. In Jo o E Maria full palet of sound is used by Caetano Veloso to accentuate the presentation. Carcar is one of the most beautiful songs ever to grace my stereo. This song could easily nestle itself onto the world top playlists.
