IF YOU LIKE ALL Cal Tjader’S SONG GO FOR IT! Gozame Pero Ya (Both Sides of the Coin) CD1 carries a very emotional theme throughout the album. There is no doubt that Cal Tjader has talent. I love this album so much, i’ve been crazy about Cal Tjader ever.
This Couldn’t Be the Real Thing is a fine track on any terms. I have all of Cal Tjader’s tracks and Bye Bye Blues is probably the most his introspective effort. Roger s Samba is just a great song and one well worth taking the time to give it a good listen. Blew our minds when we first heard Close Enough for Love (Theme from Agatha). After about the third Will You Still Be Mine? listen through, I began to believe this song is Cal Tjader’s essence. One listen to the sheer beauty of This is Always was all I needed.
