Now signed to Camaron De La Isla’s SixSteps records, the title track from second album “Castillo De Arena” leads Camaron De La Isla’s back-to-school campaign. eight years ago, Camaron De La Isla briefly lived up to their terrific name, with an insanely addictive hit single called “Donde Se Divisa El Mar [Taranto]”. Camaron De La Isla’s debut, ‘Castillo De Arena’, does not fit easily into one genre. Castillo De Arena is preety good and all the songs have a good meaning behind them.
It’s a great pleasure to listen to Donde Se Divisa El Mar [Taranto] from the beginning to the end. I have all of Camaron De La Isla’s tracks and Y Mira Que Mira Y Mira [Tangos] is probably the most his introspective effort. In De Tus Ojos Soy Cautivo [Solea] it becomes nowhere more obvious that Camaron De La Isla has yet to define own style. Camaron De La Isla has created something that grabs you by the heart and gets you moving. Camaron De La Isla allows each song to breathe and flourish. What sets Por Cositas Malas [Seguiriyas] apart is Camaron De La Isla’s innovative and organic way of creating atmospheres.
