On Lovers album, Cannonball Adderley have renewed their membership in the ‘if it ain’t broke…’ school of songwriting. Lovers carries a very emotional theme throughout the album. Lead single “Nascente” and “New Orleans Strut” start with near-whispers before kicking into giddily catchy, fuzz box-driven hollered hooks. Another great offering from Cannonball Adderley.
This track is a killer, it just grabs you instantly. Children Of Time - This one is lively and fun. Ayjala - This one makes me want to not only sing along. Nice and different song. |titile| is the kind of record that makes you remember why music can be so addictive.
