Cannonball Adderley had quite a long carriere and they made many hits. It’s natural for Cannonball Adderley to take a stab at ‘Primitivo’ considering her long-professed love for Azymuth. This disc has all of the essential Cannonball Adderley classics. Lots of variety between tracks. My favorite is Lillie
Awesome song is really all that you can say about it. This track is possibly the biggest guilty pleasure on The lighthouse and the jazz workshop. Mamey is outstanding work of Cannonball Adderley. Exodus - another great track from the The lighthouse and the jazz workshop album. Jessica’s Day good vocals. Azule Serape is another favourite of mine. What is this thing called love (4:31) Not one of my favorites, but for a lot of people this is one of their best songs. Big “P” is possibly the most mysterious and inexplicable track Cannonball Adderley ever produced. It is succeeded by an outstanding track, however: Unit 7, which shows, blatantly, how much Cannonball Adderley has evolved as a singer.
