It’s a great pleasure to listen to Orange Was the Color of Her Dress, Then Blue Silk from the beginning to the end. Black Bats and Poles is the song that really did it for me. This track is just fantastic from start to finish. Charles Mingus sings For Harry Carney in such a comforting, confident voice that you can’t help but be moved.
