Tongue In Chic isn’t so much a record, as a great effort at dragging you into another world. This eight-song debut EP shows the promise that Chic has. Since completing 1982’s ‘Hangin”, Chic fulfilled their contract with Capitol Records and where under no obligation to release another album. I love this album so much, i’ve been crazy about Chic ever.
Music and lyrics of I Feel Your Love Comin’ On creates, for me, fertile ground for daydreaming. When You Love Someone is the best music that I have heard from anyone in any area of music. I now have Chic (Everybody Say) as one of my personal favorites. I loved Hey Fool the first time I heard it. Sharing Love has a fun tempo. Chic emotions are reflected through City Lights.
