This is the first studio album from Chicago since bad diagnosis in 1984. IF YOU LIKE ALL Chicago’S SONG GO FOR IT! It’s natural for Chicago to take a stab at ‘Stay The Night’ considering her long-professed love for 2 Unlimited. I greatly enjoyed this CD.
Voice and instruments in We Can Stop The Hurtin’ complement each other. Hard Habit To Break very upbeat. Only You - To me, this is the best song on the 17. It’s also one of those rare songs that touchingly comfort the listener. Along Comes A Woman (4:16) Not one of my favorites, but for a lot of people this is one of their best songs. You’re The Inspiration rocked my world when I popped it into my car stereo. Please Hold On have really caught my ear and imagination. Prima Donna is flawed, nonetheless pretty good song. Still going through 17 and coming to appreciate Once In A Lifetime more and more with every listen.
