Since Chicago last CD (Chicago Transit Authority) on Blue Note Records back in 1969, I have felt a massive void in my life. It has been six years Chicago’ last studio CD, “Chicago Transit Authority” which won Array MTV Music Awards and was nominated for album of the year. This is one of the best Cd’s Chicago has dropped to date. If I may, I suggest “Introduction”. That one song is amazing!
When listening to Does Anybody Really Know What Time It Is, it gives me such an energy rush it’s unbelievable. From the sound of it, I believe the song can be a big radio hit. After few listenings I started to like Questions 67-And 68 more and more. Listen is one of the best records ever. Poem 58 (8:38) - Oh, this is one of my favorites! Free Form Guitar - For me, this is the best of the album. South California Purples is a song that takes you on the journey before it reaches the conclusion. Outside of the singles, my favorite song on Chicago Transit Authority is I’m A Man. Prologue, August 29, 1968 - This one is lively and fun. This track is a great song that still never gets old. I loved Liberation the first time I heard it.
