You have to get essence of the Funeral de um lavrador’s power, to truly understand this masterpiece. Chegada ao Recife is a song that will not reduce you to tears but leave you thinking long after Morte e Vida Severina have ended. As ciganas is one of those songs that will put you in a good mood. First time I heard Despedida do agreste was on radio driving in my car and sonically it just sounded amazing.The song O outro Recife ending is my favorite… so catchy! This is the most melodic ambitious and satisfying track in Morte e Vida Severina.
