Basic Basie carries a very emotional theme throughout the album. There were many famous songs of Count Basie and His Orchestra available. I am not a real Jazz music type of person, but i have to admit ‘Basic Basie’ really is amazing. This album is a scorcher!
Blues In My Heart - another great track from the Basic Basie album. A unique and uplifting song. I love the melodic melody of Red Roses For A Blue Lady and to this day it makes me feel good. Moonglow - My least favorite song on this album. Ma, He’s Making Eyes At Me is the albums lead single as well as biggest hit. M - Squad (Theme) is new, fresh, and hypnotizing. In Sweet Lorraine Count Basie and His Orchestra is at his best. Ain’t Misbehavin’ had me crying as I was able to relate so well. I have all of Count Basie and His Orchestra’s tracks and Don’t Worry ’bout Me is probably the most his introspective effort. It’s a great pleasure to listen to As Long As I Live from the beginning to the end. I’ve Got The World On A String is a fine track on any terms.
