It has been four years Country - Various Artists’ last studio CD, “Rainbow Quest” which won Array MTV Music Awards and was nominated for album of the year. I am not a real Country music type of person, but i have to admit ‘Rainbow Quest’ really is amazing. Since completing 1960’s ‘Rainbow Quest’, Country - Various Artists fulfilled their contract with Columbia Records and where under no obligation to release another album. Unappreciated gift to Country
I listened to the opening track Golden Varity and liked it a lot. I Am A Pilgrim is one of these floating songs. Other tracks are good but your best bet is to stick with Worried Man Blues. I love the melodic melody of There’s A Mother Always Waiting and to this day it makes me feel good. This song is dynamic and dramatic. This song could easily nestle itself onto the world top playlists. Coyote is new, fresh, and hypnotizing. As Long As The Grass Shall Grow - A nice song. Little Birdie-Cripple Creek is really a nice song to relax and listen too. Vocal harmonies in this track are great and song structure is just right.
