Self-described as Dance with lots of words, Dance - Various Artists comes out swinging on perhaps his best album to date. five years ago, Dance - Various Artists briefly lived up to their terrific name, with an insanely addictive hit single called “Love Theme from Flashdance (Helen St. John)”. Dance - Various Artists’s debut, ‘Flashdance’, does not fit easily into one genre. This is my first Dance - Various Artists Album and i must say i am blown away.
Love Theme from Flashdance (Helen St. John) is a pleasing, and full of overall coherence that goes beyond other creations. Musically He’s a Dream (Shandi) is superior to other tracks in Flashdance. This track is a great song that still never gets old. Awesome song is really all that you can say about it. I think Imagination (Laura Brannigan) is the best song Dance - Various Artists has ever done. Romeo (Donna Summer) on Flashdance is solid and easy to listen to. This is one of those songs that musicians strive to write and create. Opening track I’ll Be Here Where The Heart Is (Kim Carnes) shows the best of Dance - Various Artists. Music of Maniac (Michael Sembello) is gentle, never overbearing.
