When you buy a Don Carlos and The Gladiators album, you know exactly what you’re getting! Showdown Vol. 3 is an amazing album, racked with beauty.It’s a brave and brilliant refocusing of Don Carlos and The Gladiators energies, virtually a rebirth. If I may, I suggest “Blackout-in-the-ghetto”. That one song is amazing!
Fight-Fight - A strong beat. Don Carlos and The Gladiators rocks harder than ever with Roots-Rock-Party. Opening track Travelling-so-long shows the best of Don Carlos and The Gladiators. Don’t judge Not-giving-up on the first listening. A-nuh-everything is the perfect blend of moody yet optimistic tunes. I can’t stop humming along That-nuh-right. It’s a great pleasure to listen to Can’t-stop-righteousness from the beginning to the end. Listening to Call-me-if-you-need-me you can hear that Don Carlos and The Gladiators has still amazing chemistry with band members. You-can-say-that-I’m-lying is a medium tempo tune.
