This track makes my mind whirl and vibrate with flowing energy. I’ve found myself listening to 03-Soulful Kiddy back to back and back many times. 04-Child s Play is a romantic if not formulaic ditty. 05-Chant is an underrated song: I like its lyrics and melody a lot. This track is a fabulous selection of easy listening, suitable for any age, taste or occasion. 07-Cecile is probably one of Donald Byrd’s biggest successes for the album - it’s lovely to listen to. 08-Extra is pretty funky and mellow.
