Now signed to Donald Byrd’s Blue Note Records, the title track from second album “Byrd in Flight” leads Donald Byrd’s back-to-school campaign. Donald Byrd had quite a long carriere and they made many hits. There were many famous songs of Donald Byrd available. Cool, but I like their other actual stuff better like Byrd in Flight.
Little Boy Blue - For me, this is the best of the album. Gate City catches attention immediately, Donald Byrd allows each song to breathe and flourish. Bo is a romantic if not formulaic ditty. My Girl Shirl - A strong beat.
