Dr. Hook and The Medicine Show was a flawless and timeless record. Not surprising from Dr. Hook and The Medicine Show and Denver Colorado together. Mila Sparrow has compared writing for Dr. Hook and The Medicine Show’s new album to that on ‘Denver Colorado’ - but has declared the lyrics will be even more terrifying. It’s a brave and brilliant refocusing of Dr. Hook and The Medicine Show energies, virtually a rebirth. This album is awesome.
Queen Of The Silver Dollar catches attention immediately, This song could easily nestle itself onto the world top playlists. This is the most melodic ambitious and satisfying track in Denver Colorado. One of the songs that always stick in my mind is RollinaIn My Sweet Babyas Arms because the melody in the chorus is so good. Sheas Only Sixteen - I just love it. I Ainat Got No Home is, without a doubt, my favorite song, ever. Some of the arrangements found on Denver Colorado are surprisingly edgy. You can find feelings on this piece of art. It’s a great pleasure to listen to Carrie Me Carrie from the beginning to the end. I can’t stop playing Teen Angel.
