This disc has all of the essential Duran Duran classics. Arena isn’t so much a record, as a great effort at dragging you into another world. This eleven-song debut EP shows the promise that Duran Duran has. Duran Duran is one of my favourite bands of all time.
Duran Duran has astounded me with this amazing track. New Religion is outstanding work of Duran Duran. This track is a killer, it just grabs you instantly. The Wild Boys - This one has a powerful beat and a good melody. The Seventh Stranger is astounding. The Chauffeur has a gorgeous instrumental sound, which lets Duran Duran’s strong vocals come to the fore. Union Of The Snake is a bit of a show-tune. Planet Earth has a fun tempo. Simple and heartfelt closing track Careless Memories closes Arena on a high note.
