thirteen years ago, Earth,Wind and Fire briefly lived up to their terrific name, with an insanely addictive hit single called “Turn It Into Something Good”. ‘Faces’ kicks the album off with a blast of pure pop energy. Faces isn’t so much a record, as a great effort at dragging you into another world. IT makes me wanna dance!
A fantastic track full of wonder. One listen to the sheer beauty of Pride was all I needed. I like to sing along with You, though I mess up the lyrics sometimes. Sparkle is a bit different from Earth,Wind and Fire stereotypical stuff. Back On The Road - This is a very lively song. Song In My Heart is probably the most interesting track on Faces. You Went Away is exquisite song though, very addictive. In And Love Goes On you won’t find any flashy solos. The song Sailaway ending is my favorite… so catchy! When I listen to Take It To The Sky in my car when traffic ain’t going so good. Win Or Lose is worth the money. Share Your Love is the best music that I have heard from anyone in any area of music. I loved In Time - Faces the first time I heard it.
