This is one of the best Cd’s El Camaron De La Isla has dropped to date. It’s a brave and brilliant refocusing of El Camaron De La Isla energies, virtually a rebirth. Since El Camaron De La Isla last CD (La Leyenda Del Tiempo) on Capitol Records back in 1979, I have felt a massive void in my life. IT makes me wanna dance!
Romance del Amargo one is one of the better boring ones. This is one of those songs that musicians strive to write and create. I listened to the opening track La tarara and liked it a lot. Volando Voy - arguably the best track on La Leyenda Del Tiempo album. Simply the finest work ever from this multi-talented singer. Music of Viejo Mundo is gentle, never overbearing. Tangos de la Sultana is a great opener for La Leyenda Del Tiempo. The first time I listened to Nana del caballo Grande I was struck by its excellent sound. Mi nina se fue a la mar has a beautifully haunting disco flavor.
