This is one of the best Cd’s El Camaron De La Isla has dropped to date. This eleven-song debut EP shows the promise that El Camaron De La Isla has. Self-described as Latin with lots of words, El Camaron De La Isla comes out swinging on perhaps his best album to date. To me El Camaron De La Isla is the best band ever.
RENIEGO HABERT ENCONTRAO (TIENTOS) is an underrated song: I like its lyrics and melody a lot. Nice and different song. LAS PENAS DE MI MADRE (SEGUIRILLAS) - My least favorite song on this album. ME OLVIDASTE TE OLVIDE (ALEGRIAS) is an upbeat song with a constant snare hit. QUE DESGRACIAITOS SON (TANGOS) is just a great song and one well worth taking the time to give it a good listen. A great put together song. This track is almost perfect, instrumentals and vocals combine awesomely. ME DIERON UNA OCASION (BULERIAS) the elegant and beautiful song on the album is hard to describe. The first time I listened to MIRA QUE BONITAS SON (FANDANGOS DE LUCENA) I was struck by its gorgeous sound.
