Sings the George and Ira Gershwin Song Book (CD3) CD3 is preety good and all the songs have a good meaning behind them.
This track is a fabulous selection of easy listening, suitable for any age, taste or occasion. When I listen to Love Is Here To Stay in my car when traffic ain’t going so good. Slap That Bass is possibly the most mysterious and inexplicable track Ella Fitzgerald ever produced. Isn’t It A Pity? is the best music that I have heard from anyone in any area of music. Shall We Dance is another favourite of mine. Voice of Ella Fitzgerald in Love Walked In is honest and guitar work is subtle and poignant. You’ve Got What Gets Me is a very good song maybe surprisingly better than you at first might’ve imagined. They Can’t Take That Away From Me is such a cool and optimistic song that things can get just better. Album opener Embraceable You is a bright, upbeat ditty. I Can’t Be Bothered Now has a gorgeous instrumental sound, which lets Ella Fitzgerald’s strong vocals come to the fore. Boy! What Love Has Done To Me! is the more seemingly obscure song on Sings the George and Ira Gershwin Song Book (CD3) CD3 that bear up best to repeated listening. Fascinatin’ Rhythm one of the best in my collection. It’s very catchy and easy to get into which is what you want in a song. In this song fans will recognize the unique vocals of Ella Fitzgerald. From the sound of it, I believe the song can be a big radio hit. Let’s Kiss and Make Up is the albums biggest surprise. I now have I Got Rhythm as one of my personal favorites.
