There is no doubt that Emmylou Harris has talent. This is the first studio album from Emmylou Harris since bad diagnosis in 1969. I Love Gliding Bird from start to finish!
Fugue For The Ox - arguably the best track on Gliding Bird album. I Saw The Light make listening to Emmylou Harris like being in some sort of time warp. Clocks had me crying as I was able to relate so well. I believe Black Gypsy is one of the most cool, heartfelt songs ever written. Emmylou Harris sings Gliding Bird in such a comforting, confident voice that you can’t help but be moved. Everybody’s Talkin’ - A strong beat. Bobbie’s Gone gives good insight into the truths. I’ll Never Fall In Love Again one of the most beautiful songs i’ve ever heard. When I listen to Waltz Of The Magic Man in my car when traffic ain’t going so good.
